Not only is Central Rubber a "color" house, it's a high technology color house, which is especially rare in the rubber industry. We can handle complex and close-tolerance work that most other rubber companies find too difficult or demanding.

We have the ability to mold parts with a very high degree of accuracy. Working with some of the sharpest engineers and mold designers in the business lets us routinely solve "impossible" problems through special tooling or molds, or by formulating special rubber compounds. Try finding a black rubber company that offers you that flexibility.

How close is close?

A major equipment manufacturer recently contacted us to produce a thin, flexible rubber "bumper" for the controls of their high-speed printing machine. The bumper had to be composed of two 14-inch long strips of different rubber compounds, one black and the other red, molded together to within +.002", -.001" uniform tolerance along its entire length.

Nearly 100 different rubber companies told this manufacturer that the design was impossible to produce. But they came to us.

The result? Central Rubber now manufactures these bumpers precisely to specifications, and extremely economically.
